Alief ISD STEM Student Conference
April 13 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Alief STEM is hosting our third annual STEM Student Conference on Saturday, April 13th, from 9am-2pm @ HCC’s Alief Hayes Campus – West Houston Institute.
We are seeking guest speakers, vendors and volunteers for that day. Guest speakers do not have to stay the entire time.
The conference is titled “Problem Solved!” and our goal is to provide boys and girls from grades 6-12 with new experiences and awareness to career professionals, organizations, companies and educational institutions.
We are inviting individuals that are problem solvers and critical thinkers to discuss their work experiences. We are also recruiting Alief graduates to tell their story. Presenters DO NOT have to represent a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), only need to be able to speak to the question: “What was the hardest problem you have faced at work and how did you solve the problem.”
Please take a minute to complete the form below and thank you for supporting Alief STEM Academies. We will contact you for additional information in a follow-up email or phone call. Feel free to share this invitation with anyone else who may be interested in participating.
